Mark your calendars for an evening to remember! BreastReconstruction.org is proud to host its inaugural gala event, The Uplifting Event, at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York on May 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The Uplifting Event will bring together individuals, families, healthcare professionals, and advocates who are united by a shared mission: to improve outcomes for those undergoing breast reconstruction. The evening will feature a cocktail hour, silent auction, fashion show, sit-down dinner, and a special surprise performance. We will honor champions of patient care and mental health, all against a backdrop of camaraderie and celebration.

Our 2025 Gala Honoree is patient empowerment champion and pioneer, Mollie Sugarman. Mollie is the founder and original Clinical Director of the Patient Empowerment Program at NYBRA Plastic Surgery. Her unique combination of individual and group guidance and support offerings was recognized by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons for its one-of-a-kind approach to improving patient wellbeing, care, and emotional recovery. Join us in celebrating Mollie’s trailblazing work in this field!

The Uplifting Event is a direct extension of our mission to enhance education and accessibility for breast reconstruction patients. Every dollar we raise helps us expand the information we share, grow support networks, and develop and deliver the tools that prepare patients to make confident, shared decisions with their care teams.

By attending or donating, you’re not just contributing to a cause—you’re joining a community dedicated to uplifting others during one of the most vulnerable times of their lives.

Thank you for joining us in making this inaugural event a success and for helping us change lives—one reconstruction journey at a time.
