Volunteer Opportunities
Uplift, Annual Fundraising Gala
Planning Committee
Time Commitment: 1–2 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning Uplift, our annual fundraising gala.
- Help secure in-kind donations, live and silent auction packages, and gift bag donations.
- Assist in event preparation leading up to the event.
- Help promote and sell event tickets.
- Assist with event setup and registration on event day.
Host Committee
Time Commitment: 1–2 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Help connect us with potential sponsors through your personal and professional networks.
- Spread the word about the gala by encouraging friends, colleagues, and community members to attend or host a table.
Host a Fundraiser
Time Commitment: Varies
Responsibilities:
- Use your strengths and connections to help host a fundraiser to benefit BreastReconstruction.org.
- Suggestions: Dinner/Cocktail Party, Pickleball Tournament, Facebook Fundraiser, etc.
- Contact: jamie@breastreconstruction.org or more ideas.
- Connect with businesses to host “percent of sales” fundraisers.
Development Volunteer
Time Commitment: 1–2 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Support the team with donor stewardship, including thank-you notes.
- Contribute to administrative and organizational compliance projects.
- Prepare materials for mailings.
- Assist with donor prospect research.
- Help with grant/funder research.
Program Support & Outreach
Time Commitment: 1–2 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Assist with story collection and organization.
- Support outreach to medical professionals to grow mission awareness.
