Several organizations are available to help patients access products and services—like headscarves and wigs—that ease their cancer experience.
Angel Hair
AngelHair, Inc. is a nonprofit that provides free wigs to women who experience hair loss due to cancer drugs and/or treatments.
Courage for the Soul
Courage for the Soul donates headscarves to women undergoing chemotherapy.
Their mission is focused on making sure no woman feels unsupported during recovery, offering both practical care and emotional encouragement during the healing journey.
National Wigs for Cancer Society
The National Wigs for Cancer Society (NWFCS) works with your insurance provider to help you get a new wig quickly, at little to no cost. The organization also helps you file your claim and bill your insurance company, so you don’t have to worry about the paperwork.
Scars of Beauty
Scars of Beauty Scars of Beauty is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves individuals of all genders who have been affected by breast cancer or carry the BRCA gene that offers empowering photo sessions that celebrate personal stories and promote bodily autonomy, breast cancer doula care, and peer support groups.
World of Pink Foundation
World of Pink Foundation is a nonprofit and breast cancer aftercare organization that supports women who have undergone mastectomy, lumpectomy, or other breast surgeries. They provide professional fittings for post-surgical bras, breast prosthetics, lymphedema garments, and personalized aftercare support designed to restore comfort, balance, and confidence. For many patients, services are offered at no cost.
