Are you a board-certified plastic surgeon or other relevant medical practitioner who is interested in contributing to our work? We are actively seeking qualified contributors and collaborators as we build content for patients and surgeons. There are multiple ways to get involved, with flexible commitments available.
Sign-up below to learn about patient-facing content initiatives, our in-progress Medical Advisory Committee, and forthcoming Surgeon’s Corner, a technical breast reconstruction hub for surgeons, by surgeons. Patient-facing content ranges from site page review to case submission to social media collaboration, with opportunities for potential post authorship. Surgeon-facing content is set to include intraoperative videos, pearls of surgical wisdom, surgeon routables, and other opportunities that put provers in conversation.

We are actively seeking submissions for our unique, Step-by-Step Visual Timeline Section, created in collaboration with the Plastic Surgery Foundation.

About Cross-Practitioner Education:
Cross-Practitioner Education aims to improve patient outcomes and care continuity by educating practitioners in adjacent specialties about breast reconstruction options. Many patients are not informed of their breast reconstruction choices at the time of diagnosis, which can negatively affect their treatment journey. This program is designed to close that knowledge gap by offering provider-focused presentations and patient-facing educational materials.
The presentation will be live and done via Zoom.

Participants explore the indications, benefits, and limitations of pre-pectoral conversion. Watch the recorded discussion to learn from real-world cases that illustrate both favorable and challenging outcomes, gain insight into complication management, patient selection, and technical decision-making, from national, peer-to-peer discussion with experienced reconstructive surgeons.
