On Sunday, September 28, our community came together to sew drain belts for patients undergoing mastectomy. These belts provide comfort and practicality by helping manage surgical drains during recovery, and many former patients were eager to give back by participating.

Together, we cut, sewed, laughed, and enjoyed each other’s company while working toward a meaningful cause. Guests also had the chance to win raffle prizes, adding a bit of extra fun to the day.

Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we donated handmade drain belts to Perlmutter Cancer Center at Ambulatory Care Garden City and NYU Langone Breast Surgery. It was a memorable day of compassion, connection, and community support for those on their healing journey.
