David Light, M.D.

David Light, is a fellowship trained, board certified plastic surgeon with an expertise in microsurgical breast reconstruction. Dr. Light trained at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, University of Pennsylvania and Fox Chase Cancer Center. Dr. Light performs over 300 primary and complex revision breast reconstructions a year and has a special interest in helping women who were never offered a reconstruction or are unsatisfied with their current reconstruction. Dr. Light serves on the American Cancer Society Long Island Board of Advisors; is a medical advisor for Learn, Look Locate; volunteers his services with the AiRS Foundation and serves on the American Society of Plastic Surgeons EdNet Editorial Breast Work Group Subcommittee and the Coding and Payment Policy Subcommittee.
